that promotes the access to Sanitation and Clean Air For All and Everywhere in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

At WASARU:

We are committed to promoting the equal access to water and sanitation for those who most need it and use data to influence policymakers decisions at national and local levels;
We advocate for making air quality data available to the public and for the need to raise awareness about the health effects of air pollution at national and local levels;
Being a data-driven organization, We use data to provide scientists, policymakers, and our communities with accurate information on air quality and how they can use it to take action at household, local and national levels;

We provide Consultancy and Business Advisory Support on sanitation and clean air.

While promoting and advocating for equal access to sanitation, we empower communities with real-time, accurate and local air quality information to drive air pollution strategic decisions based on data.
WASARU was created and registered in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with a specific focus on Sanitation and Air Quality Monitoring. Our primarily focus was Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), but extended the activities to air pollution and air quality monitoring, as a continuation of previous projects that the founder has been implementing in the environmental health sector since 2010.
